Women’s Tennis Preview:  at Furman Duals

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team will finish fall play at the Furman Duals this weekend, Nov. 2-3, hosted by Furman at the Mickel Tennis Center.

The two-day tournament will feature nine teams in both flighted and round robin competitions. Admission to the event is free.

Joining the Spartans in the tournament are Furman, Charleston Southern, Columbus State, Kennesaw State, Liberty, Presbyterian College, UNC Wilmington and Wingate.

Doubles play will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday followed by one round of singles competition. Play will continue on Saturday at 9 a.m. with one round of doubles and then two rounds of singles.

USC Upstate is sending Noelia Acuna, Ana Boza, Gabriela Cevallos, Elin Hellberg, Maria Jardim, Victoria Saldh and Vale Zarama to the Furman Duals.
