Women’s Golf Preview:  at Jacksonville Classic

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's golf team resumes its 2018 fall season on Monday and Tuesday when it travels to Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. to compete in the Jacksonville Classic from the par 72, 5,967-yard Marsh Landing Country Club.

The Jacksonville Classic is a 54-hole tournament played over the course of two days. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday with an 8:30 a.m. start. Tuesday will feature 18 holes of competition with tee times also beginning at 8:30 a.m.

USC Upstate will be sending out a five-player lineup consisting of Pan Paksanont, Beem Pabsimma, Brooke Hutto, Anna Chanthaphaeng and Marley DeFreitas. Caroline Heustess and Kathryn Elliott are also competing as individuals.

The Spartans are competing at the Jacksonville Classic along with Jacksonville, Bethune-Cookman, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston "A", College of Charleston "B", Daytona State, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Southern, Lipscomb, North Florida, Nova Southeastern, Samford and Seminole State.

The Spartans return to the course on Saturday, Oct. 6 hosting the Tri Match.
