His 13 career saves ranks second in school history... In 2006, he led the Spartans with a school-record 12 saves... His record-setting 10th save came in Upstate's 6-3 win over No. 5 Columbus State on April 9, 2006 as he pitched the final 2.2 innings of the contest... He also tied a school-record for appearances in a season with 29 outings in 2006.

Drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 27th Round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft... Is in third season of professional baseball and first with the Lake Elsinore Storm (Padres' Class A Adv. Affiliate)...  A four-year letterwinner for the Spartans... Finished his USC Upstate career with three school records: games started (51), strikeouts in a season (86) and strikeouts in a career (264)... Branham also finished ranked in the top-five in four other categories: innings pitched (315.2, 2nd), fewest walks per nine innings (2.68, 3rd), shutouts (1, 3rd) and wins (17, 5th).
