Spartanburg, S.C. - Upstate assistant women's basketball coach Ollin Dunford and Spartans Lauren McRoberts, Sharniece Wadelington and Kendra Wallace made the short drive to Landrum Middle School on Oct. 6 to provide insight and instruction to more than 270 students.

The four Spartans spoke about Respect, Excellence and Determination. These three qualities are part of Landrum's core values. Got RED is their school slogan for 2010-11. The Upstate contingent was able to show how they use these same traits in their program, lives, classroom and on the floor.

Wallce put on a shooting display, while Dunford challenged three students and two teachers to a free throw contest.
