Applications for the scholarship are now being accepted on www.bigsouthsports.com, and the deadline for submissions is Tuesday, Dec. 18.

Spartanburg, S.C. – The Big South Conference announced its 2018 fall television schedule on Wednesday afternoon and USC Upstate will be featured 32 times for men’s soccer, women’s soccer and volleyball on the new BSN on ESPN+.
Charlotte, N.C. – The Big South Conference and ESPN have reached a seven-year extension to its media rights deal that will see close to 1,000 conference events carried on ESPN networks -- including a minimum 900 events each year on ESPN+, the first multi-sport, direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service from The Walt Disney Company Direct-to-Consumer & International segment and ESPN which launched in April. The agreement runs through 2024-25, 34 years since the longstanding relationship began in 1991.
Fayetteville, N.C. -- The City of Fayetteville, N.C., the Houston Astros and the Big South Conference announced today an agreement to host the 2019-21 Big South Conference Baseball Championships at the new Fayetteville Ballpark. The newly-constructed ballpark will serve as the host venue for the eight-team, double-elimination tournament that will determine the Big South’s automatic bid recipient to the NCAA Championship for the 2019-21 seasons. The 2019 event will take place May 21-25.

USC Upstate makes its move to the Big South Conference from the ASUN Conference, which it joined in fall of 2007 when its athletic teams moved from Division II status and began competing as a Division I institution.

Chancellor Brendan Kelly will formally introduce Feig to the community during a press conference to be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29, in the university’s G.B. Hodge Center.
