USC Upstate to Send Student Spirit Bus to Big South Women’s Soccer Championship Semifinals

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate athletics department is offering the opportunity for university students to attend the women's soccer game on Friday evening against Gardner-Webb in the semifinals of the Big South Women's Soccer Championship in Matthews, N.C.

The Spartans and Runnin' Bulldogs will kick off at 7 p.m. on Friday from the Matthews Sportsplex. USC Upstate advanced to its first-ever Big South Women's Soccer Championship semifinals last Saturday with a 1-0 victory over third-seeded Longwood behind a penalty kick goal from Abbie Ellis in the 31st minute.

The Student Spirit Bus will depart from the parking lot of the G.B. Hodge Center on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. The amenities include travel to the game, one ticket and a meal provided to each student. The trip is limited to the first 30 USC Upstate students that RSVP.
